Year in Review: How COVID-19 Influenced Our Catering Services
Safety has always been and will always be a top priority for Cotton Culinary. As we reflect on the last 365 days, we’re grateful for our HSE foundation and out-of-the-box thinking, which allowed us to continue serving you during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Like most businesses, we too had to implement additional safety measures and adjusted our operations to meet CDC, state, and federal guidelines. However, despite the masks and social distancing, Cotton Culinary’s personable service and creative menus never missed a beat. In 2020, while everyone had to rethink the way we celebrated life’s biggest moments, Cotton Culinary helped clients plan for intimate gatherings at home or in smaller venues. We used this opportunity to expand our menu and serving options for a wide range of events. For example, we created personal-size charcuterie boards for a magazine release party and delivered thousands of boxed lunches to our clients’ offices. Each solution was designed to reduce human contact and provided peace of mind during mealtime.
Looking to the future, Cotton Culinary will continue to provide the same unique care and considerations to make your next events as safe and memorable as possible. Taking the time to screen our employees daily, wearing masks while prepping, cooking, and serving are some of the steps we take to ensure we’re serving our guests responsibly and safely. During catering events, we minimize contact between guests and employees, adjust service flow to encourage social distancing, provide our remote site trailers with handwashing stations, and enforce thorough sanitizing protocols throughout the entire dining experience.
